While many people were surprised at last November’s election results, this was only the most recent evidence that systemic problems have been worsening over time. Major systems are profoundly dysfunctional. Solutions must be far more profound than merely replacing one party with another. We must organize major nonviolent solutions from the grassroots up.
Glen Anderson, founder of the Olympia Fellowship of Reconciliation chapter, has volunteered for nonviolence, peace and social justice consistently since the 1960s. He especially works to organize strategically effective nonviolent grassroots movements, and has worked especially with the FOR.Sun Oct 15, 6:30 pm, at Woodland Park Presbyterian Church, 225 N 70th, Seattle; Seattle FOR program, topic TBA.
