God calls us to be in communion with one another and to offer living witness to God’s realm of peace, justice, and reconciliation. As part of the Assembly, we will continue the sacred conversations that shape our work together in 2017 and beyond. We wish to explore how we as Church may better: Stand together to build bridges of relationship and solidarity in the face of uncertainty and divisivenes; Strengthen our connections as congregations by gathering, engaging and acting as witnesses to God’s love and mercy. The Assembly is our major consultative event of the year. It is a time to gather with other members of the wider church, to hold rich conversations, to learn what is happening currently with the Church Council, and to inform our collective work.
